Dance Storytelling Camp

Whether you're a budding ballerina or you can't help but dance when your favorite song comes on the radio, this class is for you!

Students will work with their teacher to devise and create a story that will then be put to music and movement, culminating in a final performance at the end of the course. They will also learn the core elements of dance, including movement quality, physical technique, and emotional expression. 

Feel free to sign up for any or all camp sections! Each section will differ in theme and/or style.

• For the July camp, the themes are:
  • Morning session: Enchanted Forest
  • Afternoon session: Beneath The Waves
• For the August camp, the themes are:
  • Morning session: Happily Ever After
  • Afternoon session: Mystery Manor

Participants in the class should plan to bring a pair of sneakers or dance shoes.
