  • Mill Creek Community Service and Leadership Program 26-27

Hello Mill Creek Families! Each year, Mill Creek's Community Service & Leadership (CS&L) program creates meaningful opportunities for students to connect, participate, serve, and develop a strong sense of belonging within our school community. One of the first events supported by CS&L is our annual Back to School Bash. The Bash welcomes our 7th and 8th grade students back to Mill Creek with inflatables, games, open gym, music, and other activities. It is just one of many experiences that CS&L helps provide throughout the school year. Unlike many schools, Mill Creek does not have a PTO or conduct ongoing product-sale fundraisers. Once each year, we ask our families and community to consider supporting Mill Creek Middle School. This support helps make many of the activities, events, and experiences our students enjoy possible. Funds from the Mill Creek Community Service & Leadership Programming Fund may be used to support, but not limited to: The annual Back to School Bash School-wide activities and special events Assemblies and guest speakers Clubs and student leadership opportunities Classroom and team activities Student and staff appreciation Community service projects Field trips and other special programming Supplies, materials, and participation assistance for students CS&L provides many of the experiences that help students feel connected and engaged at Mill Creek. Because we do not have ongoing fundraising efforts throughout the year, contributions to this fund play an important role in helping us continue offering these opportunities for our students. Donations are entirely voluntary, and every contribution, regardless of the amount, makes a difference. If you would like to make a contribution, the following giving amounts are available through Arux (formerly Eleyo): $25: Helps provide activity materials, supplies, and resources for student programming. $40: Supports approximately one student's share of Community Service & Leadership programming throughout the year. $80: Helps support programming for approximately two students. $150: Helps fund larger school-wide events, leadership opportunities, service projects, and special programming. $250: Provides additional support that helps expand opportunities for students throughout the school year. Every contribution helps us continue providing meaningful experiences for all Mill Creek students and strengthens our school community. For contributions larger than the amounts available through Arux, checks may be made payable to Mill Creek Middle School. Please write CS&L Fund on the memo line or mark the envelope Attention: CS&L Fund. Cash contributions may also be delivered to the school. Please note that donations to the CS&L Programming Fund do not cover separately funded trips and activities such as Seventh Grade Camp, the Washington, D.C. trip, Cedar Point, or other events requiring individual registration fees. Thank you for considering a contribution to the Mill Creek Community Service & Leadership Programming Fund. Your support helps provide engaging experiences that allow students to connect, participate, serve, and grow as members of our school community. We appreciate your support!
