Arux Mobile App 

We’re excited to share that Arux now has a mobile app for families! 

The Arux app gives you another convenient way to access and manage Child Care information from your phone. 

With the Arux app, parents/guardians can: 

  • View your child’s schedule and activity updates 
  • Manage authorized pickups and emergency contacts 
  • View and pay invoices 
  • Use contactless sign-in and sign-out options 

Getting Started

The Arux app is available for both iOS and Android. You can download it by following Arux’s step-by-step instructions here: 

How to Install the Arux App for iOS & Android 

Once downloaded, sign in using your regular Arux account credentials. After signing in, you should be automatically linked to your child’s Child Care account and able to see their schedule and activity information.

What You'll Notice at Sign-In & Pick-Up 

You’ll now see a QR code displayed on the Child Care iPad. 

This is part of the new contactless sign-in/out options and gives you a few different ways to sign your child in or out: 

📱 Scan the QR Code Open the Arux app and tap Scan QR Code, then scan the code displayed on the Child Care iPad. The sign-in or sign-out options will appear on your phone so you can complete the process from your own device. 

📍 Use Bluetooth If you allow the Arux app to use Bluetooth and the necessary location permissions, the app can recognize when you are within range of the Child Care iPad. You can then sign your child in or out from your own phone without scanning the QR code or using the iPad. You must be physically near the Child Care iPad for this option to work. It does not allow you to sign your child in or out from home or another location. 

 👆 Continue Using the iPad Don't want to use the app? That's fine, too! You can continue signing your child in and out directly on the Child Care iPad with your Security Code, just as you do now. 

What About Authorized Pickups? 

Authorized Pickups can use the Arux app for sign-in and sign-out, too. To use the QR code or Bluetooth options, an Authorized Pickup will need to download the Arux app and be logged in with their own Arux account. 

Once logged in, they can use the app to sign your child in or out when they are an Authorized Pickup for that child. 

Using the app does not give an Authorized Pickup access to your Child Care account. They will not be able to see your child’s schedule or activity information, invoices, or other account information. Their access is limited to the sign-in/out options available to them as an Authorized Pickup. 

They can also continue to use the Child Care iPad to sign your child in or out without using the app.
